The Chicken Curry is not spicy at all, just nice and mild. It has plenty of Carrots, Apple & Dried Apricots in it as well as the fresh chicken & Fresh Coriander.
As always there is Fresh Fruit & Home made Yoghurt available as well.

Today's Dessert should have been Chocolate Chip Muffin Cake but i had problems with my oven and so did not cook in time. so we will use it on Wednesday instead.

  1. I think the main looks lovely! But one slice of apple and a measly bit of cheese???

  2. Yes, when you look at it for face value it does look a bit measly. But we have to give a balanced meal & feed 300 children in 1 1/2 hours. The cheese and apple is a starter, the cheese is our source of Calcium on this day. We give this much as 100g of Cheddar has 403 Calories, 25g of Protein & 33g of fat. We give the 1 one wedge of apple as we also put more apple in the curry. all my menu's are past by a Nutritionist to check for a healthy balance.
I hope this answers your question & and thanks for your comment.

  3. This looks very tasty. Is the school where you work a private school (privately funded) or is it publicly funded?
